Siemens' Otterbach speaks at the first VoiceCon in Europe
The leading communications event VoiceCon, is coming to Europe for the first time. It's a unique opportunity to hear informed debate on developments in the rapidly changing market of IP telephony, software-based architectures and unified communications. Held at the RAI Amsterdam on 14 - 16 October, it will bring market movers face to face with decision makers for a stimulating discussion. The Senior Keynote speaker line up includes Gerhard Otterbach; Chief Market Operations Officer of Siemens Enterprise Communications. During the conference Siemens will be showcasing their technology in unified communications for large and small enterprises. In a climate where there is increasing pressure to deliver higher levels of service at lower operating costs, alongside environmental responsibility, organisations are challenged. Unifying communications can help solve these issues. Siemens can bring all communications together into one single unified communications solution, which improves customer response, enterprise agility and subsequent productivity.
Keynote speaker Gerhard Otterbach joined Siemens in 2002 as Deputy CIO of Siemens ICN Operating Group. By the following year, he was CIO and in 2004 became divisional head of Enterprise Services at Siemens Communications. From October 2006, he has been the Chief Market Operations Officer of the newly founded Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG.
