OGCbuying.solutions has extensive expertise in purchasing across a wide range of goods and services. They have pre-tendered framework agreements, providing public sector bodies with access to over 500,000 products and services. In order to make their offerings more straightforward and accessible, OGCbuying.solutions have brought their various sets of framework agreements, (BroadbandSolutions, GTC, GCat, GPC, GTM, L-Cat, Portfolio, PCS and S-Cat) together under one brand name of Catalist. These new agreements are aimed specifically at reducing the cost of ICT goods, services and consultancy services purchased by the public sector. Siemens already have a long track record of success in this area and these new frameworks will deliver even greater savings to our public sector customers than before.

The Catalist framework has a number of innovative changes designed to make purchasing of ICT Consultancy simple by focusing on the most appropriate service categories and tailoring these to public sector needs. Public sector customers will also be offered best value for money from the 'best of breed' suppliers accredited under the agreement. It replaces the highly successful 'S-Cat and G-Cat' framework agreements, as well as introducing new specialist product, service and consultancy services categories.
